Lucas Oil Stadium

Home of the Indianapolis Colts, Lucas Oil Stadium is a shining example of Innovative Panel Technologies ability to marry unique components to achieve a specific result. Here, a fire retardant, structural panel was needed that was aesthetically pleasing with a long lasting wear surface. These panels met specific OSHA & ADA standards and achieved a Class A fire retardant rating. The final product used a combination of plywood to meet the structural requirements, an aluminum backing needed for the high fire retardant standard and a polypropylene surface that delivered exceptional wear characteristics and looked great. IPT was the supplier to the primary vendor for this project. IPT also has panels in the Alamo Dome and University of Phoenix Stadium, the home stadium for the Arizona Cardinals. Portable staging, stadium seating and bleacher panels are core areas of strength for IPT.

Mezzanine Challenge

Innovative Panel Technologies has, over the years, developed panels for a wide range of industrial applications including dozens of mezzanine projects. Used primarily for storage solutions, the panels required in these applications need to meet specific structural and wear characteristics. One particularly challenging mezzanine application was developed for a frozen food distribution facility in Florida. The panels IPT developed for this application had to address freezing conditions, be fully-sealed, meet specific structural and span requirements with a slip-resistant surface to assure the safety of the facility's employees. IPT met the challenge head-on with a panel that was encapsulated in plastic with sealed edges that resulted in a moisture resistant barrier that met the customer's specifications exactly.

Furniture

There's no end to the breadth of projects IPT has been involved in. Furniture is just one of a long list of applications IPT products has addressed. One of IPT's longtime customers needed a panel for use in school cafeterias. The solution had to be cost effective, easy-to-clean, durable and affordable. IPT responded by the truckload with panels that are now widely used in schools across the country.

The Rose Garden

Portland Oregon's Rose Garden Arena specified a panel for use in an area used for wheelchairs. They wanted a panel that met a high aesthetic standard but would handle the load and wear of constant wheelchair traffic. IPT, in cooperation with the project vendor developed a proprietary panel that's held up beautifully to over a decade and a half of hard use. Innovative Panel Technologies solutions stand the test of time and the Rose Garden is a perfect example of that standard.

Portable Hospital

During hurricane Katrina make-shift field hospitals were set up in tents. Local and federal governments needed more substantial structures that were also portable. Through their supplier they turned to Innovative Panel Technologies, Inc. (IPT) to develop a solution. IPT designed a stressed skin sandwich panel that was a light weight wood-free composite insulating foam material laminated to an aluminum backing. These panels became the walls for easily transported portable field hospitals that are still in use today in a variety of applications and conditions. Additionally, these panels had to meet specific fire and building codes.

Rental Stages

One of the largest providers of rental stages has turned to Innovative Panel Technologies on several occasions to supply ultra-durable, pre-finished stage panels for the rental market. Because of the wear associated with these stages the wear surface is twice the thickness of conventional stage panels. These are stages that are used in a range of applications. From concerts to large ceremonial events you've seen Innovative Panel Technologies products in some of the country's most noteworthy and visible celebrations. IPT has several fully developed products available and can design custom panels suited to specific use requirements.

Innovative Panel Technologies, Inc. works directly with several bleacher OEM's to design, produce and source the products they need for their projects. These OEM's depend on IPT's expertise in developing the pre-finished materials that exactly meet their specifications.
